Southover Grange, being a Grade 2* listed building in Lewes built in 1572, has undergone a significant and sympathetic restoration.

Having secured the project through the Sussex Contractor Framework, Cheesmur carried out the £900k scheme for remodelling and refurbishment of the ceremony rooms, first floor offices, kitchens and toilet areas as well as installing a new staircase and lift. Working closely with the client team and English Heritage the refurbished facility provides office facilities for the East Sussex County Council registrars as well as an excellent wedding venue.

The Cheesmur team were delighted to join dignitaries, the project delivery team and other guests at the official opening on 12th June.
