We were first contacted on 1st July regarding this urgent project, still in the early stages of design, which required the reconfiguration of internal areas to create a new care suite facility and new staff toilets at a local school, and were able to confirm that we had the resource and capability to deliver the project in reediness for the commencement of the new school year on 4th September. Cheesmur were approached to deliver this project as a result of the open and collaborative approach demonstrated to the Client on many previous projects and our team attended a number of team meetings and worked closely with the Client Design Team and Cost Consultant to develop the design and procure accurate costs and delivery commitment from our supply chain partners. A final costing meeting was held at Cheesmur’s offices on 17th July and works commenced on Monday 24th July and, as a result of the pro-active and collaborative team approach adopted by the Client team, Cheesmur and our supply chain, we are delighted to confirm that Practical Completion was achieved on 4th September in readiness for students to return on 5th.
