Following a competitive tendering process, Cheesmur were appointed to construct a new hotel extension for Dale Hill Golf Club and Hotel. The project was procured via a traditional client team designed contract, albeit with some specialist contractor designed elements.
The project included features such as ground source heat recovery for space heating, photovoltaic panels for electricity and an “invisible” cooling and heating system. There is also an oak framed walkway linking the new building with the existing hotel.
The scheme provided our client with fifteen state of the art hotel guest rooms and bathrooms, as well as six staff en-suite rooms. Most of the guest rooms feature south facing terraces or glazed balconies with far reaching elevated views spanning several miles of open countryside and woodland, they are also immediately adjacent to the golf course.
