The Cheesmur site team has commenced work on the £620k construction of a new traditionally built single storey classroom block to provide two classrooms, group room storage and sanitary facilities as well as external works involving landscaping and drainage. The interface between the extension and the existing buildings will involve some internal and external alteration works. The site consists of two schools located on a single site in Crawley and Manor Green Primary School will remain operational throughout the works, catering for primary children, aged 2–11 years with learning difficulties and additional needs.
