Philip began his career in 1984, working with a local Building Contractor in Hampshire. Since then he has worked for both national and international contractors, gaining experience working on a varied portfolio of projects including social housing, residential conversion, factories and other commercial projects.

Whilst working in Cambodia he worked on a number of large and prestigious projects including steel framed rice mills, a five star luxury hotel resort and the extensions to the International airports at both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

Prior to joining Cheesmur Philip worked for a Kent based private developer, specialising in joint venture sites with Social Housing providers as well as smaller bespoke housing schemes with project values up to £30m
